Hi Red,

Your groups’ forms have been received. Thank you! Since your group filled out the online liability release form, they do not need to bring a copy with them.

Now that we have your groups’ flight and hotel details, I’d like to provide more information about the transfers.

We will help arrange all Friday and Saturday transfers – please let us know if you or your clients have made other arrangements. Although we do help arrange transfers to/from the boat they are not included in the package price. Airport to/from boat transfer costs currently run $50 for up to two people (each way) and $25 per person thereafter. Hotel transfer costs vary by distance. All taxi fares are payable in cash to the driver. Taxi transfers are government regulated and are subject to change without notice.

Saturday April 11, 2026 – Our driver will plan to meet you at the front of the hotel between 2-3pm on Saturday. He will be holding a sign that says either “Explorer Ventures” or the boat name. Should your have any trouble finding the driver, please call the boat at the number listed on the voucher before taking another taxi. The crew will try to reach you at the hotel on Friday evening / Saturday morning to touch base. If you unavailable when we call, a message will be left for you with the hotel. Boarding begins at The Marina at South Bank (Caicos Marina and Shipyard) in Providenciales at 3PM.

Friday April 10, 2026 (Stuart and Rodger)– Upon exiting the airport, our driver will meet your clients just past airport security. Please advise them to inform the taxi dispatcher that they are going to the Turks and Caicos Explorer II and to please call Super 7 Taxi to take them there. Should they have any trouble finding the driver, please ask them to call the boat at the number listed on the voucher before taking another taxi. The driver will take them to the hotel and plan to pick them up the next day between 2-3PM at the hotel. Please ask them to reconfirm the details with the driver on Friday. Boarding begins at The Marina at South Bank (Caicos Marina and Shipyard) in Providenciales at 3PM.

Saturday April 18, 2026 – Passenger disembarkation is no later than 9:00am. What to expect

Days aboard generally involve breakfast from 7 am to 8 am (cold breakfasts are available for late risers), followed by two-morning dives, lunch at 12:30 pm, two-afternoon dives, dinner at 6:30 pm, and a night dive. Island shore excursions will be arranged when possible for those interested.

Please note also that itineraries for these unique trips will depend on weather and logistics at the Captain’s discretion. The remote expanse of the area dictates that these will always be somewhat exploratory trips, and the schedule may vary depending on the diving area.

Sample Itinerary:

Day 1 Saturday:
15:00 Guests board
18:30 Dinner (snacks or dinner available for those arriving on later flights)
19:30 Captain’s Briefing, documents, etc.
21:00 Shore leave or simply relax aboard.

Day 2-6 Sunday-Thursday:
Up to 5 dives are offered each day depending on logistics.

Day 7 Friday:
Dawn dive and morning dive offered, with departure for port after morning dive. Afternoon at leisure; dinner ashore, with a night spent aboard the vessel.
Please note, The last dinner before disembarkation day is not included (taken at a local restaurant).

Day 8 Saturday:
07:00/08:30 Continental breakfast
09:00 Depart the vessel. Should you be leaving on an afternoon flight, feel free to leave your luggage on the dock alongside the vessel until you depart; we will watch over it.

Due to the necessity of readying the vessel for our next cruise, we must strictly enforce the 9 am departure.

The Turks & Caicos Islands are known for their expansive underwater visibility, high-voltage wall dives, and the profusion of marine life of all sizes located within their boundaries. Low annual rainfall and reliable ocean currents contribute to the remarkable visibility, as well as provide nutrients for the many large pelagics common in these waters. Caribbean reef sharks are common, as are spotted eagle rays, jacks, grouper, and turtles. Also spotted on a frequent basis are blacktips, tiger sharks, hammerheads, and manta rays. Famous for its spectacular walls filled with huge gorgonian fans, barrell sponges, hard-coral arches and macro life, the Turks & Caicos Islands truly offer a dive experience for everyone.
