Job Description: Here at Giant Stride Dive Shop we don’t just teach people to become divers, WE LIVE THE DIVE LIFE & CREATE GOOD DIVERS! Being an IDC Instructor at our shop entails hosting a variety of PADI courses on a monthly basis. Servicing equipment brought into the shop. Creating revenue for the shop by selling gear, trips, or courses. Skills Hosting classes on a monthly basis Knowledge on Dive Theory Ability to organize, maintain, and service dive gear (regulators, bcds, wetsuits, etc.) To have a variety in ways to teach courses and skills Handling pool, class, and paperwork logistics Ability to make sales for shop Experience Has a minimum of 5 years worth of diving experience Worked with PADI affiliated shops/resorts Worked in a classroom setting Certified in Nitrox and to teach Nitrox courses Certified in a variety of specialties
