Guided Shore Dive at Kings Beach in Newport, R.I., Giant Stride Dive is doing a Guided Shore Dive at Kings Beach All divers are asked to confirm their participation before the event. This is open to any divers with an Open Water Certification (please bring your Certification card) Our Divemaster, Tom will guide you, and be your buddy if you haven’t got one. Rental Gear is available at our store if you haven’t had a chance to get your own yet. Tom is a PADI Certified Divemaster and works for Tips so please be generous to show him that you had a good time and appreiciate his efforts. Please contact Tom directly @ howarthtr@gmail.com so we know how many to expect and to be able to notify you if there is a change in plans due to weather or other unforseen circumstances. Kings beach is located off of Ocean avenue in Newport, Rhode Island.

PADI RESCUE DIVER CERTIFICATION CLASS 6/4/25 @ 6:30PM
June, 2025 – PADI Rescue Diver Course Instructor: John Langella Develop your skills and confidence as a diver. Learn how to organize dives so as to minimize the need for rescue assistance. Learn self-rescue techniques as well as assisting/rescuing another diver. The cost of the Rescue Diver Certification Course is $500.00 This includes books and registration materials. Divers must supply their own personal dive equipment as well as an underwater compass and a pocket mask for CPR. Prerequisite: Divers must also be Advanced Certified and proficient with underwater navigation and must be EFR primary and secondary certified within the last 24 months.
